We’re already about a month behind with this breeding.
Wish her luck!

In order for me to continue breeding, I had to make some difficult decisions and rehome some adults.
All of my adults are sensational.
Click here to learn more about them.

You didn’t get to live very long, but from word of mouth, you outlived some of your siblings and family members.
You weren’t the nicest rat, but that face could melt my heart like nothing else. I forgave you when you bit or attacked. I understand now that your aggression could have been caused by that tumor. You might not have been able to see well, so you could have been scared all the time.
You were my ambassador. You came to work with me to show people that rats weren’t evil or disgusting. That they were cute, soft, and could be very loving.
You had my heart from the day I adopted you.
We buried you under a tree wrapped in some nice, warm fleece, which you always loved. You’ll get to become part of the earth now.

Myself and breeders get first picks.

She had a large tumor and was apparently found wandering on a road, the story was the someone dumped her there because of the tumor. Julie’s Tumor was operable and removed about 2 hours into coming into my hands. She lived the duration of her life with her friends in the rattery. Julie Lane was put to sleep this afternoon after an emergency vet visit. The vet found several more tumors in her lungs and body.
Julie got to finish life the way every rat deserves to finish.
He is calming down very quickly now. I made an attempt at introductions, which didn’t go TOO poorly at all, but he still needs more time to calm down and more introductions before they can all live together.
However, intros between my males always means a cage scrub and bath time, so here are the photos. ;)
