Tumbleweed Rattery Reno, Nevada
I breed rats because I want to further rats as pets and give people an opportunity to have great pets with long, healthy lives who are all happy and well tempered.
I choose mom and dad wisely and mostly based on personality. Color, fur type, ear type, all of that comes second to my mind. If I use a male or share a male of mine, with another rattery, I will need to meet the other rat and make sure the pair is going to get along well and make wonderful babies.
At this point, I am only working with Amour Petite, Candirats, and Bleu Royale ratteries because of their close proximity and because communication between us is easy and goes well.
My rats are registered with NARR, North American Rat Registry. This registry helps me track health, temperament, and other important information about each rat, it’s family members, and anything else I want to know about a rat. All babies that come from my rattery are also registered, which is why if you do adopt from me I will need to know about anything health related that happens with my rats.
Goals: Health, great personality, and conformation (how the rat looks).
